Sa Franquesa Nova – Mallorca

EN: Today, I will show you our accommodation on the beautiful island of Mallorca. Last week, we spent four days at the calm boutique hotel Sa Franquesa Nova. Located in the stunning landscape in central Mallorca making it a great base to explore the diverse regions and beaches of the South. This 17th-century estate oozes understated luxury. Neutral tones and contemporary finishes blend effortlessly with the traditional exposed honey stone walls and beamed ceilings. Most rooms are on the ground floor with their own private entrance which spills out onto a terrace with loungers and far reaching views. The hotel consists of 24 rooms, with plenty of natural light and exhibiting a complementary mix of colors and designs. There is also a beautiful outdoor pool, but my personal highlight was their two horses and one zebra who are joining you in the garden. An amazing view, while you’re having breakfast on the terrace.

DE: Heute möchte ich euch unsere Hotel auf Mallorca vorstellen. Letzte Woche durften wir vier wundervolle Tage auf der Baleareninsel Mallorca verbringen. Untergekommen sind wir im charmanten 4-Sterne Landhotel Sa Franquesa Nova, in der bäuerlichen Landschaft unweit von Manacor. Die restaurierte Hacienda aus dem 17. Jahrhundert – im Herzen des Anwesens Sa Franquesa – besteht aus mallorquinischem Sandstein, der an Sommerabenden golden schimmert. Durch die leicht erhöhte Position bietet sich ein herrlicher Ausblick über die idyllische Landschaft mit ihren Wiesen und Feldern.

Die Finca aus dem 17. Jahrhundert befindet sich auf dem Landgut “Sa Franquesa” und wurde stilvoll renoviert, wobei der authentische Charme gewahrt wurde. Alle 24 Gästezimmer sind geschmackvoll und komfortabel in hellen Farben eingerichtet und verfügen alle eine Terrasse oder einen Balkon mit Gartenmöbeln und schönem Blick in den Garten. Der großer Swimming-Pool mit traumhaftem Blick ins Grüne ist ein tolles Highlight, aber mein ganz persönliches Highlight sind die Hühner die frei auf dem Gelände rumlaufen. Und die zwei Pferde und das Zebra die friedlich auf einer Koppel auf dem Grundstück grasen. Ein wirklich toller Anblick beim Frühstück auf der Terasse.
